there was one winter, when i was about five or six, that it snowed in houston. It was about two weeks before christmas, and all of the lights were up and there were reindeer and elves and giant candy canes on front lawns, and i woke up and there was SNOW. It was the first time i ever saw snow, and even though it was a mere centimeter (if even that) and it melted within the span of two hours, it was the best, most satisfying snowy christmas i've ever had. even better than the six feet we used to get everyday in maryland in the winter (where you could ski to the supermarket), or the plush fluff at Big Bear. it was even better because it was (almost) a miracle. So yes, now, fewer than 12 hours before the big LSAT (and it definitely deserves to be capitalized), the one thing keeping me sane (besides dove dark chocolate and orbitz chewing gum- no, not simultaneously) is this one, pathetic as it may be, Christmas real-life miracle. it's my mantra, 'yes! miracles can happen!' =P yes, i am officially insane...but tomorrow it'll all be over! *beam* and then it'll be time for (after finals) snowboarding and skiing (hopefully) and ten ren and presents and new year's and CHRISTMAS! ho, ho, ho!
